Status International (UK) Limited, ("Status"), has earned its position as the UK’s leading independent
supplier of lighting and electrical accessories, with people and innovation right at the heart of their
business.

Status is run by father and son, Peter and Nicholas McVeigh, who between them have nearly 100
years combined experience in the lighting industry. Today, Status has a customer base across the UK
and Europe including major national and independent retailers, wholesalers and electrical wholesalers.

Status has been trading for over 30 years and is located at its Head Office in Birkenshaw, West
Yorkshire, with a warehouse, distribution centre, in-house design studio and laboratory. Their
135,000 square foot distribution centres are located in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire (just off the M62
motorway).

They offer an online ordering service. This service allows you to place your orders 24/7 and at your
convenience. Their prices are very competitive, and their minimum carriage paid order value is only
£250. Home Hardware also offers a 2% year end rebate.

They pride themselves on stock availability, maximising sales at every opportunity.

Their dedicated Lab Technicians work to their own internal test standards to successfully deliver "right
first time" quality to their customers. To achieve this, they inspect a number of samples from each
delivery they receive. They safety and function test each product to ensure it meets their high levels of
quality expectations. Status are a Corporate Member of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and
sponsor their annual awards.

We stock almost 400 Status products in our warehouses at Barnstaple and Bedford and I highly
