  SETTLING INTO COLLEGE LIFE IN THE UK

We understand that living and studying in another country, away from home should be an exciting time but may also be quite challenging.
Both College Guardians and the college that you are attending want to help you make the most of your time in the UK. It is really important that you contact us if there is anything that you need help, support or advise with.
When you first arrive it may feel very daunting however If you are living in college Halls of residence there will be staff on hand to help you with any questions that you may have.
If you have any problems or are unsure of where you need to be and when please just ask In addition to the team in your Hall of residence your College Guardians representatives are always happy to help you.
We understand that life globally is very different to how we were all living a few months ago and for this reason you may feel more anxious when arriving in the UK.
You will have read lots of reports in the media of what life looks like in UK at present, there is no doubt that things are very different , but as with the media everywhere, they often focus on the worst case scenarios.
To follow are some hints and tips that you may find useful particularly under the current circumstances.
