Havey, trembling with excitement, took them [the tourmaline] into the hollow of his arm like sticks of pitchwood and carried them away from the hole.
I asked Jeff (100 years later) to reenact this Forrest Havey moment with one of his larger crystals. He reluctantly agreed.
