Benjamin Wolfman
First Tee – Tampa Bay
Age: 23
Years in First Tee: 5
College: Bethany College | Biology
What are you doing today?
I have graduated Bethany College and currently still live in my college town helping out both the men and women’s golf teams. I also work full time at Pfizer
as an Environmental Monitoring Technician.
What impact did First Tee have on your life?
First Tee impacted my life greatly both on and off the golf course. Without First Tee I would not be where I am today. First Tee improved my golf game immensely which allowed me to earn a college scholarship and play golf at the college level. First Tee also introduced me to lifelong friends and coaches.
What is your favorite memory from your First Tee – Tampa Bay experience?
My favorite memory from First Tee would have to be the fundraiser we did at Old Memorial Golf Club. Playing that prestigious golf course was such an unreal day.
Is there a specific core value or life skill that you learned which has helped you in life?
The core value that has stuck with me the most from First Tee would have to be perseverance. No matter the ups and downs through anything in life, the best thing to do is put your head down and push through it. The other side of it will be worth it.
First Tee also introduced me to lifelong friends and coaches.
