Moved by Babcock and seconded by McGannon to approve Hanlon to accept and sign the safe routes to school grant. All members present voted aye.
Moved by Blackmun and seconded by Peterson to change the utility due date to the 25th day of the month and to be implemented in October 2017. Customers will be noti ed in September 2017 of the due date change. All members present voted aye.
Moved by Babcock and seconded by Opp to change the commercial demand rate to anything over 25 KW/month, and drop the 6,000 KWH/month rule. This rate change will be implemented October 2017. All members present voted aye.
Moved by McGannon and seconded by Babcock to write off a utility account for $27.98 for collection agency fees. All members present voted aye.
Moved by Blackmun and seconded by Opp to allow Hope Block to attend the 2017 Annual SDML Confer- ence and the Municipal Election Workshop. All members present voted aye.
Moved by Blackmun and seconded by Babcock to ensure if an appropriation is made on the next budget for Chamber donation, that it will be contingent upon a  nancial statement from the Chamber showing how they used the donated funds. All members present voted aye.
Moved by Blackmun and seconded by McGannon to adjourn into executive session for personnel and legal items 1-25-2 (1) & (3) at 8:57 pm. All members present voted aye. Council reconvened into regular session at 9:20 pm.
