Summer Lesson Nine
Props required: Sparkly magic bag, magic sparkles, melodic instrument, coloured scarves, bee toy, 2 x bird finger puppets, 5 x rubber ducks, picnic laminates (apple, grapes, sandwich, orange juice, scotch egg, currant bun), rain laminate, parachute, five soft toys/finger puppets (classes in the nursery only), big teddy (classes with parents only), percussion instruments, small teddy, bubbles
Welcome: ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ & ‘Hello, Hello’ Name or puppet game: ‘Hickory Dickory’ Rhyme: ‘Two Little Dicky Birds’
Action song: ‘Five Little Ducks’
Story time: ‘Going on a Picnic’ (activities two and three only)
Pulse activity: ‘Walkin’ in the Rain’ or ‘Sally Go ‘Round the Sun’
Instrument time: ‘The Shakers in the Band’ Movement: ‘Jumping Bean’
Listening: ‘To a Wild Rose’
Hiding: ‘Someone is Hiding’
Goodbye: ‘Flutter, Flutter Butterfly’ & give out magic sparkles
