Wild boar colour, typical for wire-haired Dachshunds, is not al- lowed in smooth-haired, as the Standard claims that colours other than those listed under “Colour” are eliminating. In smooth-haired variety, wild boar colour means that there are wire-haired ances- tors behind this dog.
Wild boar (allowed only on wire-haired dachshunds):
“Classic” wild boar Brown wild boar (it’s NOT forbidden!)
