Ste en was always there, the most lovable, careful companion you can imagine. Sadly I lost him far too early. It was his time every Saturday, when the children’s class came to our farm and he could play with the kids. Un- til today I remember the Zuchtschau, where Ste en and nine of his o springs were shown. All came into the ring with children and all be- haved perfect, and it was such a beautiful and proud moment, still brings me into tears!
What would you suggest to novice breeders?
Do not start with experiments. If some- thing is good, keep it and repeat it.
Your ideal dog?
Germandachs Razzamatazz, the sire of Del- brügger’s Sammy and Ste en.
