Tuition fellowships available for undergraduate students who have completed their freshman or sophomore year
This three-week intensive program for college vocal students
who have completed their freshman or sophomore year builds a foundation in stagecraft through classes in acting and dramatic interpretation, language and diction, solo and ensemble coaching, stage movement, dance and body awareness. Led by faculty with years of international experience, participants prepare and stage scenes from operas and operettas for public performance.
CLASSES AND SESSIONS
Students attend up to 35 hours/week of classes and sessions, including:
Dance and movement for the stage
Techniques in dramatic interpretation and theatrical presentation Diction and language
Daily individual and ensemble coaching
Scene staging
Opera scene performance
Guest lectures
Individual voice lessons (voluntary)
