pistou, similar to pesto but without the pine nuts. For delicious lunch options, try a tuna niçoise or pan bagnat – a niçoise salad in a sandwich! Of course, there is plenty of French wine for you to enjoy, with locally produced Provençal rosé a firm favourite amongst the locals.
SEE The French Riviera offers an abundance of things to see. For stunning vistas, take a walk through Monts D’Azur Biological Reserve in the mountains north of Grasse, a landscape of rocky cliffs, meadows and woodlands. Saint-Cezaire-sur-Siagne, Saint- Paul-de-Vence and Gourdon all offer panoramic views of the rolling hills and olive trees, and are perfect for an afternoon stroll through the cobbled lanes. Festivals are common, from the annual Fête du Jasmin in Grasse to the glamorous film festival
in Cannes, where you can also explore the designer bars and couture shops. A trip to Antibes is a must, where you can admire the luxury yachts in the harbour before exploring the market full of local produce or enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes.

For the more active members of the group, there are fabulous landscapes for hiking, you can try canyoning at the Gorges du Loup canyon or discover the Grottes de Saint-Cézaire caves. The Marineland in Antibes is a great day out for the family, offering an aquarium, splash park and mini golf. Or for those looking for a more relaxing holiday, there are miles of glorious sandy beaches along the French Riviera coastline for you to discover.
