EATMenorca has many specialities eat the “caldereta de langosta” (lobster stew). Eat the traditional tapas such as “albondigas” (meatballs) and “calamares” (squid) provided in the bustling local towns. Eat the local cheese, there are many traditional farms on the island where you can try before you buy!
Don’t forget to wash all this down with the local tipple, the delicious “pomada”, the local gin with fizzy lemon. ideal!

DO Join in one of the local fiestas with horses, funfair and fireworks, held nearly every weekend in the main summer months. Do have some family fun, at one of the 3 waterparks. Do visit the many sunset bars with a cocktail in hand as you watch the sun go down. Do explore Monte Toro the island highest point with spectacular views over the islands countryside and coastline.
