BUFORD ALPHARETTA NORTH GWINNETT CO-OP Help with Christmas Preparations SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 9 AM – NOON AND 1 – 4 PM 4395 COMMERCE DRIVE Volunteers are needed to assist with Saturday operations and Christmas preparations. Volunteers will sort donations, assist in the thrift store, and help set up for the holiday giving programs. Some lifting required. Volunteers must be 7 and older. CUMMING MEALS BY GRACE Farm Assistance TUESDAY TO SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 9 AM TO NOON 6405 BENNETT ROAD The aquaponics farm produces food for families in need in Dawson and Forsyth counties. Volunteers plant, harvest, and weed at the farm. There are 25 spots available for volunteers, so this opportunity is great for gathering your small group. CUMMING MEALS BY GRACE Client Choice Pantry TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM 432-A CANTON HIGHWAY The Client Choice Pantry is open for families in need to shop via a points system. Volunteers help stock shelves, unload the shipment truck and shop with our neighbors. There are eight spots available to volunteers. MEALS BY GRACE Sunday Service Day SUNDAYS | 1 – 4 PM MIDWAY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 5025 ATLANTA HWY Meals by Grace Sunday Service Day serves Forsyth County families every Sunday at Midway United Methodist Church from 1:00 to about 4:00 PM (depending on delivery duration). Volunteers prepare, cook, and deliver meals to 70 families in Forsyth County. There are plenty of spots for volunteers, so bring the whole family. VARIOUS LOCATIONS HI-HOPE SERVICE CENTER Decorate a Home for Christmas NOW THROUGH DECEMBER 23 Do you love to decorate for the holidays? Share your talents with friends from Hi-Hope! Hi-Hope Service Center has five residential homes located throughout Gwinnett County. Volunteers are needed to adopt a home. Volunteers will decorate the house or a resident’s room for the holidays. This is great for a family or group to spread holiday cheer.
