MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Circle of Care is to be an active participant in the development of children in our growing and changing community, by providing the highest quality and compassionate care while continuously raising the bar of home health service standards.
ANNUAL TRAINING
Employees are required to receive training annually covering the topics listed below. Written and/or on- line training materials will be made available to staff. If the employee fails to complete and verify training, they will be placed on unpaid leave until training is complete.
• HIPAA
• Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
• Infection Control, Exposure Control and Blood borne Pathogens
• Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation
• Advanced Directives
• Patient Rights
• Risk Management/Safety in the Home
*Employees not involved with patient contact require less training.
Each supervisor will address this with guidance by HR Director upon hire.
ATTENDANCE
Each employee is important to the overall success of our company. Good attendance habits consist of the following:
OFFICE PERSONNEL
• Reporting to work on time at your scheduled start of the workday.
• Clocking-in no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of the shift and no later than the start of the
shift.
• Being at your work station, ready for the start of your shift.
• Remaining at your work station unless the needs of the job require being elsewhere, except during authorized breaks (restroom breaks and/or lunch periods).
• Not leaving work until the end of your shift, unless excused by your supervisor.
• Leaving promptly at the end of your shift, unless you have been given permission from your
supervisor to work past that point.
• Calling in / texting and personally notifying your supervisor or another member of management if you are going to be absent or tardy, unless a verifiable emergency makes it impossible to do so.
• False representation of the reason you are absent from work may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

THERAPISTS
• All therapists are expected to report to work on time at your scheduled start of the workday
• Full-time therapists are required to fulfill productivity expectations in alignment with employment agreement (or as outlined in subsequent documented discussions with HR) by completing full treatment / therapy days beginning on Monday and on each subsequent day until the caseload requirements have been met for the care week or pay period.
