CONTINUING AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (CaPE) ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
Le’Von Alexander, ND (Chairman, CaPE Advisory Board) is currently a Senior Compliance Consultant. Prior to compliance, he had over thirty years of extensive experience in Medical/ Surgical Sales, Sales Training and as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Le’Von has over 20 years of medical skills as well as teaching experience in universities and in private schools. His roles have ranged from positions as department head, administrative staff, lecturer/instructor and clinical coordinator.
Vince Bailey is a 35+ years media veteran who began his career as a United Way volunteer.
For over 25 years, he has operated Vince The Voice LLC., a full service audio video production and consulting company based in Georgia. He is an experienced announcer for professional sporting events and media broadcasts. Vince teaches Voiceover Fundamentals at Clayton State University and formerly served as the President of the Atlanta Job Corps Advisory Board and Chairman of the Fulton County Workforce Investment Board.
Louis (Lou) Hampton has a combination of 20+ years of combined Information Technology (IT) experience with a primary focus in project and program management. Lou is a Sr. Project Manager working with SeKON Enterprises. Louis also leverages his passion for Program and Project Management by working as a project management consultant and instructor at CSU (CaPE). Lou helps his students to find their passion and build confidence and knowledge to successfully apply towards the PMP exam.
Courtney Holmes has spent the last 17 years working in the WIA/WIOA program with youth, adult, dislocated, and displaced individuals. Initially beginning her professional career working as a Project Coordinator for a pregnancy prevention program for adolescent youth, she is currently a Regional Quality Assurance Manager for the Workforce Services Division of a local contractor. Courtney is married to Derrick and has one daughter as well as two bonus sons.
Peggy Lacey is an experienced IT Professional and Project Manager. She has recently retired from Clayton County Government after working there for over 20 years. She has lived, gone to school and worked in Clayton County since 1965. She is driven by her love for community. She is a firm believer in lifelong learning and continuing professional development. She plans to continue to be active in her community and share her experience and knowledge in ways that will improve the lives of others.
Morrelle McCrary is President and CEO of RAM-Tech PC Solutions, a professional IT solutions company based in Henry County, Georgia. Morrelle is very active in his community with his involvement strongly tied to his 6 years of membership with the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, including serving as the Vice Chair for Economic & Cultural Development for the past 3 years. For the past 2 years, Morrelle has served on the Main Street McDonough Board as the Organization Committee Chairman.
Demetra Morgan has over 15 years of human resource experience, working in both the private and public sector. Demetra is CEO and Managing Principal of D.E.E. Results, LLC (Delivering Effective and Efficient Results), an organizational development and management-consulting
firm. She has been an instructor for 9 years at CSU in the Continuing & Professional Education where she teaches Essentials of Human Resource Management, PHR & SPHR Certification Exam Prep, SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP Certification Exam Prep and a series of five courses in Church Administration she developed.
Sharon D Ponder is a wife and mother of 3 children. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, she returned to the Metro Atlanta area to pursue a career in accounting. She eventually became a staff accountant with Bennett International Group, LLC, a transportation, warehousing and logistics company. After a 23-year career at Bennett, she has watched the company’s revenue grow to over $600 million and currently serves as their Vice President of Finance.
