GOOGLEPAY LAUNCHED IN SWITZERLAND
What Apple Pay is for the iPhone is GooglePay for the Android phones. Following Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, the third global mobile pay- ments system has also been launched in Switzerland since the end of April.
Partner banks are Cornèrcard, BonusCard, Swiss Bankers and boon – and later: Credit Suisse with its prepaid cards and the Swiss banking app Neon (from summer 2019).
In Germany, Revolut customers can already use Google Pay, so it's only a matter of time before Revolut releases Google Pay in Switzerland.
As was the case with Apple Pay , Swiss big banks and card providers are giving preference to their own local startup Twint.

REVOLUT UNLOCKS APPLE PAY
In Switzerland, Revolut customers have final- ly been able to use the Apple Pay feature since May .
This makes the bank startup from London Revolut the first free card provider in Switzer- land.
