BACKGROUND
I’m Lee Norman Norman owner of LN Joinery and Norman Norman Developments I embarked on my journey into property and joinery as a a a a 16-year-old apprentice joiner joiner in in in in 2001 Working for a a a a a family-run construction company I dedicated three years to securing my apprenticeship While most of my peers pursued sixth-form and university without a a a a a clear career career path I focused on on on my construction career career Whilst friends were out partying and having fun I dedicated evenings and and weekends to assignments and and presentations ultimately earning my HNC in in construction In 2007 I I purchased my first house house they were peak house house prices at the the time Then came the the 2008 recession The The company I was working for hit difficult times and made more than half the entire work force redundant myself being one of the younger ones was seen as as the cost-effective choice Instead of getting upset I saw this as an opportunity to kick start the next chapter of my career The very next day I accepted a a a a a job from a a a a a local construction company The next 2 years I made the move from a a a a site joiner to to working supervisor to to becoming a a a site manager running half a a a million pound projects with further personal certification being achieved via on-site NVQ accreditation’s In early 2012 I I I was back on the tools doing what I I I loved The issue was all my contacts wanted me in different places at the same time This is is when I took the leap to to set up LN Joinery at
