R.E.D. RETREAT WEEKEND
by Tamara Gant
Roundup 2022 was a
resounding success!
The R.E.D. Retreat
(Rejuvenating and
Embracing all Deltas to
Elevate with Fortitude) was
held the weekend of
August 19-21 and included
activities where all BCAC
chapter members could
get involved: an outdoor
concert on Friday night at
Mills Pond Park that
featured headliner Tank as
well as American Idol
winner Ruben Studdard;
Saturday was the all-day
business meeting held at
Old Davie School House
and then on Sunday, the
R.E.D. Retreat wrapped up
with the first-ever Crimson
de la Crème dinner—
where sisters dressed in
all-white with red accents
caravanned from the
Galleria Mall and were
spirited away to a secret
location, Coral Ridge
Yacht Club—to enjoy dinner and the sounds of saxophonist Randy Corinthian.
A special thank you to the entire Retreat Committee, Co-chair Ayanna Slater-
Hankins, and Vice
President of Membership,
Deidra E. Johnson for your
leadership and vision for Roundup ’22! Sisterhood Sisterhood
