during practice. Even her 3-year-old daughter began imitating her yoga and chanting at home. Sundays turned into family yoga time, a new tradition born from her training.
Basanta proudly earned her Authentic Yoga Certification, confident not only as a teacher but as a person. She described the program as meeting and even exceeding the 200-hour RYT standards in teaching practice, methodology, philosophy, and practicum.
She reflects:
“Through my training, I obtained far more than a certificate. Adhiyogi and Authentic Yoga have become part of my life, my teaching, and my family’s life. I feel fortunate to have been trained by such a knowledgeable and experienced teacher, one who has brought classical yoga into today’s world.”
