In 2024, Nicole met Adhiyogi in Italy to take advanced lessons and to fulfill a personal dream. With his help, she visited her ancestral hometown — the very place from which her family had immigrated to the United States generations ago. Walking through those old streets, seeing the landscapes her ancestors once knew, was an overwhelmingly emotional experience. Nicole felt a profound sense of connection, heritage, and gratitude — so much so that she described herself as “blissed out” for days afterward.
“Thank you, Adhiyogi, for being my teacher and my friend,” Nicole says. “You have enriched my life in ways beyond measure, and helped me see that every place is the perfect place of yoga.”
