Adhiyogi in International Travels
After establishing his presence as a respected Yoga teacher in the United States, Adhiyogi's journey took an expansive, global turn. In 2009, he began traveling back to India more frequently, reconnecting with the land of his roots and finding renewed joy in each visit. These trips were not merely nostalgic—they were deeply rejuvenating, both spiritually and culturally.
Then, in 2013, a new chapter opened in Adhiyogi’s life when he received an invitation to teach Yoga in Norway. It was his first official visit to Europe for teaching purposes. As he boarded the plane to Norway, he recalled the prophetic words of his father, Vinayak, who had once said, “You will travel to many countries.” At the time, the young Adhiyogi had barely imagined such a future. Now it was becoming a vivid reality.
His visit to Norway was warmly received. Students there, though from a very different cultural background, resonated deeply with his teachings. His authenticity and clarity cut across language and tradition, allowing Yoga to reach hearts far from its birthplace. The success of his Norwegian sessions led to a series of invitations to other countries, including Italy and beyond.
In each of these new lands, Adhiyogi not only taught Yoga but also cultivated genuine friendships. He was embraced by diverse communities, and many students found his teachings life changing. Some became dedicated practitioners, while others took up translation work, helping to bring his written Yoga philosophy into European languages. His work became accessible in Italy, Norway, and several other parts of Europe, expanding both his mission and the reach of Authentic Yoga.
This phase of international travel marked another powerful validation of Vinayak’s quiet but profound blessings. What began as a father’s prediction had now become the unfolding of a global legacy.
OM Shantiḥ.
