Everything was not fine!
Adhiyogi’s journey was marked by trials as much as by revelations. He lost his computer job three times—each dismissal tied to his devotion to yoga. Practicing and studying yoga during office hours cost him his career, yet it also uncovered his true calling. While the financial strain was difficult, it led him closer to discovering his real path.
The greater struggle, however, came from within. Adhiyogi endured three harrowing episodes of depression, each so severe that they nearly pushed him to the edge of life itself. In those moments, he held on to his faith in his father and in Sai Baba, refusing to surrender. Through deep reflection, he realized that his depression was not the result of a chemical imbalance, but rather of guilt and sadness over his perceived shortcomings. This insight opened a new door: he began to see the sharp divide between Mind and Body.
Adhiyogi came to believe that depression belongs to the realm of the Mind. While the body, breath, and chemistry may influence it, true healing must take place in the Mind itself. From this hard-earned understanding, he later guided others through their own mental struggles, offering not just empathy but lived wisdom.
In time, Adhiyogi recognized that these ordeals were not punishments but lessons. He felt his father had placed him in these situations to teach him—so that he could one day help others on their journeys toward healing and clarity.
