Page 7 - Adhiyoga Purana
P. 7

The fundamental purpose of Yoga is to live a life of true happiness. Yoga teaches how to face the inevitable challenges of life and offers ways to overcome them. It cultivates noble qualities such as kindness, forgiveness, and peace. It sharpens the power of right judgment and decision- making. When this transformation occurs, sorrow, suffering, and disease gradually fade away.
Dr. Neel Kulkarni has fully restored people with many kinds of diseases—physical, mental, and emotional. These include skin disorders, disabilities, neurological conditions, bone ailments, and various mental disturbances. His unique method of treatment has saved many patients from undergoing surgery. Many individuals have regained the ability to walk independently. In numerous children, the degree of mental retardation has lessened; many have become calm and composed. Children who once showed no interest in learning have begun to study with enthusiasm. Feelings of guilt in the minds of many have been alleviated. My strength and words are insufficient to recount the full extent of his work.
In our body there are five koshas: Annamayakosha, Pranamayakosha, Manomayakosha, Vigyanmayakosha, and Anandamayakosha. Dr. Neel Kulkarni addresses them step by step. Through this process, the person who comes to him is not only freed from disease but also awakens to a deeper experience of true happiness. Moreover, such a person begins to understand the true meaning of life.
Lastly, but not least, I wish to emphasize that Dr. Neel Kulkarni has spared no effort in educating hundreds of internationally competent Yoga Teachers through his extensive travels, prolific writings, insightful translations, and rigorous trainings across the globe. His important message, contributions, research, and legacy will continue to inspire and guide generations for decades to come.
Here, I bring my Purana to a close. Finally, I feel that Dr. Neel Kulkarni is an incarnation of Adinath—Shiva himself. He has come to India to spread Yoga and to guide humanity towards a life of joy and fulfillment. I consider myself fortunate to have met him. Like Lord Shiva, though engaged with the world, he remains ever detached.
