We know that anything that we perceive is either made by a human or it happens in the nature. There is no question about this. However, for a human to make things, the presence of intelligence and physical ability is must. Such a human with intellectual and physical abilities is produced by another human. Firstly, the producer humans (a couple) do not directly form abilities, but only perform natural sexual act. Also, the ancestry of any human cannot be traced to the origin. But the first human in such a chain must be formed by someone or some natural force.
Additionally, things that are not directly made by humans such as day-night, rain, sunshine, earth, sky, etc. follow a given set of rules which can be discovered through research in Physics, Chemistry, etc.
Thus, everything in the Universe is bound by certain rules or cause-effect relationship. Question then arises as to who made these rules that are governing the Universe. A human mind cannot be at ease until a plausible explanation is given. Such a plausible explanation, if it sounds logical and helpful in terms of living, is accepted by most of the human population (theists), or it may get rejected by those who demand physical proof (atheists). There may even be debate or war between these two groups. But the fact remains that there is something
