Page 3 - What is the Squad List?
P. 3
Hello! I’m Simon
I’m a professional investor who has written for Moneyweek (Metals & Miners) and Agora Financial (Gold Speculator) as well as
having spoken at numerous events, such as Innovation Zero at Olympia. I’ve been investing for over 30 years, and it’s become second nature.
I appreciate that as a Wealth Manager, you’re
used to putting portfolios together, but commodities are
probably a new asset class for you, so it’s important that you do it right. It could well be a bit different from what you’re used to.
I want to give you my simple 3 step plan to point you in the right direction. If you want to make life even easier for yourself, you can get my Squad List, which basically distills the thousands of mining companies and funds out there to a list of about 40 that I choose from – saving you hours of research!
Commodities tend to be a lot more volatile than many other investments, so it’s important to be careful about what you do. Set yourself up to win.
The main thing I want you to learn from reading this guide is how to put this portfolio together. Understand the structure and the process I follow.
Whether it’s for you or your clients, it’s important you get it right. It needs to be constructed in such a way that it’s appropriate for the level of risk as well as the returns you’re looking for.
It might be that commodities are viewed as “too risky” for your clients, so you may want to do your own portfolio first. The idea is that having read this you can put something together for yourself and if you want to share it with your clients, I can show you some lower risk options you can look at (see the end of the report).
