Fear is an emotion that has been present
in humans since the beginning of mankind. It is meant to protect us from dangers and
threats. However, excessive fear is a danger in itself. Anxiety disorders and
phobias are centered around too much
fear. While some cases of anxiety can be
self-treated, and some phobias aren't a concern, it is still important that you inform your doctor of any symptoms you might
have. Be conscious of your fears because it doesn't take long for a harmless
fear to evolve into a crippling disorder.
