Observe the activities in the large and small learning corners. How are they different?
The cubbies are the childrenÊs first stop upon entering the learning centres. Suggest ways to let the children use the cubbies as independently as possible.

Equipping the learning centres with the right materials, and not just toys, is vital to promote self-learning among children. They are also constantly learning through play. Figure 4.3 describes some suggested materials that you can use in your centre.
