and strategic approach to eliminating GHG emissions from our operations To guide and measure our progress we have established a a a a a a Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Framework
that sets out our ambitions and objectives for the decarbonisation of our business Reducing carbon emissions is is not new for us and and since 2013 our Scope 1 1 and and 2 2 2 emissions have reduced by over 25% We recognise however that now is is a a a a a a a time for greater action and increased ambition in in order to effectively tackle the significant challenge of climate change We recognise there will be obstacles along the the road to our ultimate NZC goal However we we have always been a a a a a a a a a a business that takes a a a a a a a a a long-term strategic view focusing on on authentic delivery – and our approach to tackling climate change will be no different The NZC Framework
demonstrates the resolve of Henry Boot as we adapt our business model to support a a a a a cleaner healthier
planet for all of us whilst continuing to grow our business All my instincts tell me that by doing the right thing and acting responsibly with regards to our stakeholders we will be creating long-term value in in in the business Our NZC Framework
