The
ARTS
Thursday in the Park
Our small towns have quite the variety of art
galleries and shops offering fine art, basketry, pottery,
jewelry, furniture, and other hand crafted gifts of distinction.
Take the time to see what the local artists are creating and discover the
innovative art of the area. Attractions include the
Historic Stevensville Arts & Entertainment District, Queen Anne’s County Center for the Arts holding many events, and Kent Island Federation of Art (KIFA) programs and art classes.
Create musical memories at the Historic Church Hill Theatre. Situated in a sleepy rural town Church Hill Theatre is a mecca for the performing arts. Live dramatic performances can be enjoyed nine months out of the year.
Shakespeare in the Park
An outdoor summer time treat, blending art and Shakespearean language to a park every summer. Shore Shakespeare breathes life into their rendition of a William Shakespeare original. Every summer features a different play. For more information,
