taxes and service charge
All prices are subject to a 20% service charge on food and beverage only
6% Maryland Sales Tax will be added to food and other applicable charges and 9% Maryland Liquor Tax will be added to all alcoholic beverages.
gUarantee
Final payment and exact guarantee is required fourteen (14) business days prior to your event. Your guarantee guest count is considered your final guarantee and is not subject to a reduction. If attendance exceeds the guarantee, payment by credit card or cash is required prior to departure.
payments
A non-refundable deposit fee of room charge and if applicable, the ceremony charge is required to secure the date. A payment of 50% of estimated bill is required six months (180 days) prior to the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable.
A full payment by credit card (MasterCard/Visa/American Express/Discover), check or cash is necessary with your guarantee fourteen (14) days before the wedding ceremony/reception date.
oUtside Food and Beverage
No food or alcoholic beverages may be brought into the reception as exclusively the Rod ‘N’ Reel Restaurant provides this service. The restaurant cannot permit any food or beverage to be taken from the reception in accordance with health and sanitation policies.

We can do it all... Let us know if there are any other functions associated with your wedding day with which we can help. Even if you’re not having your reception with us we’ll be happy to be of service.
parking
The Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa provides self and valet parking.
guest room accommodations
We provide a complimentary guest room for the bride and groom the evening of their reception. If you are having your reception at the resort and wish to provide your guests with lodging accommodations, please contact the Wedding Sales Department at 877.763.6733 extension 137, 112 or 114 for arrangements. When contacting the reservation department, each guest should request the name and the date of the wedding block. Wedding Block cutoff date is 60 days prior to arrival. After this time, any rooms which have not been reserved under the block will be released into the general inventory of
the hotel and no longer be available under the block. When your guests contact us to make their room reservation, they
will be required to provide payment for the full stay and will be charged at that time. A 72 hour cancellation for individual reservations is required in order to receive return of deposit. Please make reservations based on the amount of time required to prepare for your event and for your departure (an additional evening prior to or after your event may be advisable according to the time of your function).
