Legend has it that the first Marines were recruited at the original Tun Tavern in Philadelphia on November 10, 1775 by Captain Samuel Nicholas. The private room in the Tavern can be reserved for up to 42 guests. The entire Tavern can accommodate up to 100 guests and is available after hours.
