Things To Do with a River View!
 BIKE! Queen Anne’s County
is home to eight bicycle routes ranging from 5 to 59 miles.
STROLL! On one of our scenic public pedestrian trails. Allow the bay breeze to tickle your nose as you explore nature along the Bay’s shores.
CROSS ISLAND TRAIL A 6-mile trail spanning east to west from the Kent Narrows Waterfront district to the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. This trail affords pedestrians, runners and cyclists unique opportunities to view local wildlife in an environmentally sensitive
setting. All this is encompassed by waterfront, canopied woodland and access to public parks. ADA Accessible.
SOUTH ISLAND TRAIL The trail stretches from Matapeake State Park to Romancoke Pier and offers an off-road route for bicyclists, walkers and runners from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay to the Eastern Bay.
EXPLORE! The Chesapeake Bay Watershed at one of the 15 public parks and beaches in Queen Anne’s County. The beauty of our public parks beckon weary travelers to stroll through our woods, fields and marshland.

CBEC, with its 500 acres of wetlands habitat, promotes stewardship and sustainability through environmental education and habitat restoration. Stroll the trails, observation blinds and towers, boardwalk, raptor exhibits as well as aviary and kayak rentals. CBEC offers children and adult programs, day/summer camps as well as facility rental for weddings and events. ADA accessible.
