Hi everyone!
Norm Nichols here filling in for President Dan Schaefer who is getting
better every day but still has a long way to go. Continued prayers for Dan
and Marilyn.
I heard the call of a sand hill crane this week, a sure sign that spring is
just around the corner and all the birds will soon be flying.
A group of 14 of us got a lot of belly laughs at the John McGivern show, then we went to the
Fork in The Road and got our belly’s full. This was a very enjoyable afternoon.
We had a group of 25 or 27 (depending on who’s counting) for the fish fry at the Machine Shed.
A lot of good conversation and once again excellent service and great food. One couple misread
the message, went to the Mine Shaft and were disappointed to have missed the event.
We had a great lunch with good conversation at the luncheon cruise to the Flipside cafe.
Coming up we have a tour of the War Memorial on 3/27/25 10:30 with lunch after.
The April monthly meeting will be at the Waukesha Pizza Ranch with pizza and soda supplied by
CTCW.
Keep those calendars handy as we have
a lot of events coming up this year.
Keep those birds flying
Norm Nichols
