Hi everyone!
Norm Nichols here filling in for President Dan Shaefer who is
getting better every day but still has a long way to go. Continued
prayers for Dan and Marilyn.
I have been taking Tweety Bird on some longer drives the last
couple of weeks and she feels good.

April 15 We held our monthly meeting at the Pizza Ranch in
Waukesha. Lots of good food followed by the meeting. Twenty-Two members there.

April 26 We enjoyed dinner at the Silver Spur, then went to the Sunset Playhouse
to see the play Grand Hotel. There was Fifteen members in attendance.

May 4 We kicked off the car show season with a good representation at the Lionel
RR Clubs show. Six members showed their cars Seven Thunderbirds there. Joe Miotke

got 2 place with his 1960 red bird.

May 6 We had our first cruise night to Sweet Dreams Restaurant in Hartland
with about Twenty members attending.

May 17 The CTCW Annual Bird Bath at the Rugg’s home Shop. A good time to
do some last minute tinkering on the birds with lots of free advice from fellow members
or just come for the fellowship.

May 18 Thunderbird Appreciation Day. The Venus Ford car show with the

Thunderbird being the featured car as it is the 70 anniversary of the T Bird. The car
show will be followed by dinner at the Final Approach in Oak Creek.
Keep those calendars handy as we have a lot of events coming up this year. Also
check for changes as we are still working out some conflicts.
