Who’s Listening?
Everyone.
Whether you’re communicating with a client, candidate, referral source, payor, or partner, they’re listening for what your message means to them. It’s our job to make each stakeholder feel that we understand their mindset, motivations,
and challenges.
Whenever you speak or act for BAYADA, think first of the people you’re connecting with. Your capacity to put yourself in their place is one reason you’re here. It’s foundational to our brand and our work.
That’s what Mark Baiada did when he first started exploring a home health care business. He reflected on how his aging grandmother, who had lived with his family when he was growing up, could easily rely on them for support— and he knew that not all families could care for a relative as his could.
Start with your audience: See their world, their challenges. Hear their anxieties and frustrations. What would you need to hear to feel supported? What solutions can we offer?
Every stakeholder is unique, but with each, connect first. Then solve. And follow through.
