STUDENT LIFE AT NYFA 175
Industry Lab
New York Film Academy has a long tradition of hands- on learning. The Academy has always believed that
a learn-by-doing approach is one of the best ways to hone technical skills and nd an artistic voice. This type of experience can also prepare a student for a more professional environment once they graduate. It was with these two main aspects in mind that Industry Lab was created.
Our partnership with larger and smaller productions, from Warner Bros. Records to music videos for unsigned artists, have afforded our students unique and extraordinary opportunities to enhance their craft while still under the nurturing guidance of the Academy.
The New York Film Academy’s Industry Lab takes our students to the next level as they work on professional productions with industry pros on real projects. Collaborations have included pilot episodes, feature lms, broadcast music concerts, of cial music videos, and more.
