The largest of Herefordshire’s five market towns, Leominster (pronounced Lemster) is a haven for antique collectors, featuring regularly on the BBC’s ‘Flog It’ series. Myths & Legends
Imbued with mystical stories Leominster has an enchanting heritage. With its museum mapping the history of the town since Roman times, the spectacular Leominster Priory features the last surviving ducking stool and the newly renovated Grange Court showcases the King’s carpenter John Abel’s finest work. Recognised as the historical home of the Ryeland Sheep and its top quality wool the ‘Lemner Ore’, explore its textile heritage during the middle ages.

Famous for its all year round markets and festivals, visit the Mayfair with traditional stalls and rides or Leominster Festival in early summer, with its ten days of fun and entertainment. Savour the wonderful tastes from the borders at
