This might be one of the least populated areas in the country, but my goodness it is known as one of the most entrepreneurial. Home to some iconic brands like Bulmers, Westons, Tyrrells and more it is packed with amazing people doing incredible things with food and drink, arts and crafts and the most unique accommodation experiences; imagine glamping in a railway carriage in a cider orchard or bedding down on a llama farm... it’s all here.
Tourism plays a huge part in the area’s economy, yet you’ll rarely find the region overrun with
people as there are so many things for them to do and places to go, hidden around in the vast open countryside.
