Hay-on-Wye is a small market town tucked between the borders of England and Wales fondly known to the locals as 'Hay'.
Once you've visited you will be coming back time
and time again, it's bursting with quirkiness, culture and adventure, a perfect place to take time out, relax and explore.
Hay and the surrounding area has something for everyone; from a beautiful castle to the stunning
landscapes of the Black Mountains, from wonderful shops, restaurants and pubs to the meandering River Wye, fabulous for exploring by canoe.
Of course, if you're into books, this is the place to be. Famous for its bookshops (last time we counted there were 30!) and the world renowned 'Hay Festival' which attracts over 250,000 visitors for 10 days every year in May. Hay is a reader’s idea of heaven.
Whether you want to camp out in a secluded shepherd hut with a log burner to keep you warm or stay in a well stocked hotel or beautiful B & B, Hay is the perfect place to escape to. Let us help you get the most out of your #greatstayinhay
