Carreg Cennen Castle
This spectacular, ruined castle is perched on a high limestone crag 110ft/100 m
above the River Cennen. The path from the car park is a 10-15 minute walk and is a
mix of flagstones, uneven stone, dust, and tarmac with mixed gradients leading up
to the base of the castle, The castle ruins can be accessed up a fairly steep, grassy
slope. There are several steps into the inner ward of the castle. Entry charge.
How to get there: Signposted from the village of Trap. Ammanford (5.3m/8km)
and Llandeilo (3.2m/6km).

Public Transport: Not accessible by public transport.
Parking: There is a large, tarmac-surfaced car park close to the castle.
Disabled parking is available in the farmyard.

Distance: The castle is approx. ΒΌ mile/400 metres from the car park.
Facilities: There is a shop and cafe/restaurant on site. Please speak to staff for
alternative disabled access.
