Interior Excellence Course
Ideal for stewards/esses who have one season plus experience on board, this course has been designed to perfect all the back-of-house interior elements in a very busy and fun packed 5 days.
An incredibly educational and interesting course, it covers all certifiable areas set out in the GUEST Guidelines for the following modules:

Course Outline
In just 5 days, this course provides the tools necessary to develop behind the scenes, finely-tuned organisational and management skills that are required to run the housekeeping and laundry departments, of which help hold the boat together.
There is a full day of Interior Administration, Human Recourses, Communication skills, housekeeping fundamentals and fabrics and surfaces. Then the course dives into Guest area management, linens and towels, folding, laundry skills / machines (tips and tricks).
There is a wonderful floristry section which will provide you with the skills to management and maintain your plants and flowers on-board.
The Valet section is invaluable teachings of sewing, shoe care, and tying ties as well as challenges like packing and unpacking with confidence, the setting up of a ‘cabin’, turn ups and turn downs as well as games to fine turn your attention to detail.

All passing students are accredited with a GUEST Certificate – 100% attendance rate required.
Price
All courses include training material for the duration of the
5-day course, provision of training equipment, materials and products. Minimum of 2 – 6 students per course to ensure optimal training results.
