The folks of Ledbury and Bromyard know how to put on a great party! Whether it’s hosting the Chilli Festival, enjoying world renowned poets at Ledbury Poetry Festival, making the most of Bromyard Folk, Hop or Marmalade Festivals – they put on a great event. Apple orchards, vineyards and hop-growing dominate this area and cider making is a key (and much loved) activity.
Bromyard, nestled beneath the Bromyard Downs, is a great area for walking whilst Ledbury is particularly attractive with little muses nudging off it’s long street which are crammed full of boutique style shopping of all kinds. In sun or snow, Ledbury is postcard pretty nestling under the Malverns and has become quite a gourmet destination with several excellent restaurants, delis and coffee and cake shops, as well as specialist cook shops.
Travel a little further and you’ll come to the spectacular Malvern Hills renowned for their panoramic views and pure spring water.
