Welcome to the imperfect, but somehow perfect ancient and quirky Wickton Court. “it all feels authentic and atmospheric”.
Warm, welcoming and relaxed, with plenty of space inside and outside. Big bedrooms and big bathrooms. Big heavy curtains and snuggly comfort, with attention to the details.
Breakfasts are a feast and we are flexible with times
and where you take it. Outside in the sunshine, in the gorgeous panelled room with the enormous log fire and grand piano - or even in your room. Same goes for the evening meals.
This is a place where the odd spider and muddy paw and footprints are natural. The odd hen or duck wandering about – occasionally even in the flagstoned passageways - We are more a wellies and slippers rather than Jimmy Choo sort of destination!
Find peace and tranquillity here. A place to unwind, where the sound of laughter is music to our ears!
Please call and discuss bookings for both rooms for the same party. We also have a 3rd room available if a group wish to book and share the twin room bathroom.

Eating at Buzzard House is shaped by the seasons using locally sourced ingredients where possible and seeks to showcase the best that Herefordshire has to offer. Breakfast (included in the tariff) and the three course £30 (optional) dinner are highlights of the day. All guests taking dinner are consulted on dislikes and food allergies with the evening’s three course menu published that morning.
