Shobdon’s Food and Flying Festival has been a fixture of
the county’s calendar for over a decade making it the longest running
event of its kind in Herefordshire. What started as a village show with a
few dozen visitors has grown into an event that now sees thousands flock to the small
north Herefordshire village. The event is sponsored by Bestparks whose Pearl Lake
Leisure Park is just a few hundred yards from the festival’s showground.
As well as the food and flying attractions, bespoke arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations
by top local chefs, live music and children’s entertainment complete the packed line up.
The Shobdon Food and Flying Festival takes place at Shobdon Airfield on the
25th and 26th of June.
Dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times NOT allowed in Food Marquees
