Its laid back country-living demeanour has ensured that Herefordshire has had to use its imagination to become a year-round player with festivals galore, and 2017 is no different with Herefordshire events planned to be bigger and better.
The market towns all bang their own drum throughout the calendar, with Ledbury’s Poetry Festival, Kington’s Country Show, Leominster’s Victorian Christmas Market, Bromyard’s Gala and Folk Festival and various other regular district and village events. Hereford City itself stages Historical Hereford Day, Cidermaking Festival, Contemporary Craft Fair and Borderlines Film Festival. In between these regular fiestas the county comes together for the Herefordshire Country Fair, H.Art open studio art week and a range of food festivals and walking festivals.
