Talgarth and its surrounding area, contains many more trades, businesses, goods and services than we realised
when we set out to compile this directory. This list is not exhaustive but it gives a clear indication that economic activity is alive and well in Talgarth and it contains real depth and variety. In time, we hope
to develop from these few pages into an extensive, and more detailed, database which would then be available to residents, visitors, organisations, promoters of events – and anyone who might be contemplating taking up residence, or starting a business, in Talgarth.
This list has concentrated on trades, businesses and commercial activities.
We have not included clubs and societies, local authority and public services, nor have we included farmers and smallholders.
This is not because we have any wish to be exclusive, but because we had to start somewhere, and finish something in time
to be published in this programme. As the directory expands it will include many more areas of interest. We want to hear from you. If you feel that your activity could benefit from inclusion in the directory, please let us know. There are no qualifications: whatever it is that you do, you only need to be doing it in Talgarth, or nearby.
