Herefordshire is packed with brilliant destinations for a great day out, from country shows, to an animal park or a day of retail therapy.
Hereford Waterworks Museum, on the edge of Hereford City, may not sound like an instant attraction but, with its own interactive children’s water park and working steam days, this is an engineering extravaganza with real heritage behind it.
In 2016 Wynnes of Dinmore expanded its chicken and feed business into an amazing animal farm park with alpacas, micro pigs, pygmy goats and more for you
to pet and even buy, along with everything your new animal will need for housing and feed.
For a spot of retail therapy, Labels in Ross on Wye is the brand shopping village for the area, with its own restaurant and seafood bar, and plenty for the home, gifts as well as fashion.
Fancy a day at the Races? Hereford Racecourse re-opened in 2016 and is a galloping day out for anyone enjoying a flutter or a group of friends looking for a fun lunch and excuse to celebrate.
