There’s a lot of pomposity with wine. We will keep it to a minimum we promise. If we advise something it’s because we think it’s a fair substitution or a better vintage given the timeframes. We’ve been doing wine to yachts since 2009 and we can source pretty much anything and we endeavour to ship worldwide.
Our wine cellar reads as follows: The much hyped champers section first - the illustrious Bordeaux Chateau; a quick TVR cross country to the top Domaine of Burgundy. I want fresh rosés from Provence and mineral driven Sancerre, zippy Chablis’ for lunch times I hear you cry - fear not we’ve got it covered!
Italy next, firstly there are some fun wines from Liguria - San Remo, Imperia, Genoa, Porto Fino area. These are best drunk in the restaurant by the sea where the boss/principal has had their lunch - they will NEVER taste the same again and under no circumstances let them bring more than one bottle onboard.
We head to the exotic reds of Barolo north to Alto Adige, next Chainti territory, then south west to Super Tuscan(y). Let’s not forget the wines of Montalcino, a few crackers from Sicily and Sardinia and some top sparkling wines then that’s pretty much Italy covered.
We have the best examples of Spain from the likes of Pingus and Vega. We’ve refreshed our selection of wines from the U.S.A, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand in order to cover all that may be requested.
Thanks to our long standing relationships with many of the wineries, Just Provisions is able to offer excellent prices, purchasing as we do directly from the producer or through our selected network of suppliers.
The JP wine service charges small commissions when sourcing fine and rare wines. We will happily quote and advise you on the best available vintages given the time we have to do the job. EVERYTHING is quoted and tasting notes for all our wines are available to download.
