RUNNERS
The runners are stored in the fwd bilge. These are to be put out after every charter at your desecration, depending on the time between trips. The only runners on board are for the sky lounge, dining room and main salon.
After charter please place a drop towel at each entrance (sky lounge and main salon) and also under the cupboard in the sky lobby area, at the top of the stairs, as the air con blows black dust on the carpet. In particular please place a drop sheet outside the VIP, the secret door exit to the crew areas.
The silk dining room chairs need covers but DAB has not been keen to do so. We tried to look for a replacement synthetic fabric to re-cover the chairs during the Solent Refit yard period as they are so badly stained. We had H2 and a few other Interior Design companies looking for something suitable and found nothing. In the end we ran out of time. The chairs have been professionally cleaned but there is nothing more they can do for them- the stains cannot be removed.
It is pivotal that any one walking in the interior takes shoes off. And if engineers are working inside – they should place all working tools on a drop cloth (a clean one from the laundry). We also have large size gloves for the deck and engineers – for when they work in the interior.
