   The Museum of Cider
On the original factory site of iconic cider producers Bulmers, this wonderful museum pays homage to Herefordshire’s cider heritage. Annual events and cider competitions, the tearoom and shop purveying Herefordshire ciders, perrys and juices as well as apple-related gifts make this popular with both groups and individuals.
Hereford Waterworks Museum
Enjoy the Waterworks Museum’s unrivalled collection of original working steam water pumps, many used right until the 1960’s to service Hereford’s water supply from the River Wye. Open Tuesdays only with additional ‘In Steam’ weekends through the year. The fun children’s waterpark shows the science of water pumping with a whole range of interactive mechanisms in the safety of the play area.
Black & White House Museum
This picturesque building in High Town tells the stories of life in Jacobean times and is furnished in period style with an internationally important collection of English oak furniture. There are hands-on activities for children including replica clothing and puzzles.
Hereford City Guided Walks
The Guild of Guides run daily 1.5hr walks from Hereford Cathedral, highlighting historic and important buildings, monuments and people. Booking useful, but not essential.
