Bodnant Gardens National Trust
Cared for by the National Trust since 1949, Bodnant is a garden of firsts – home to the earliest and grandest laburnum arch built in 1880, to Britain’s earliest magnolias introduced from China in the late 1800s and to unique rhododendron hybrids which originated in the 1920s.
A Tour of Anglesey
Lynda our Blue Badge guide will take us on a tour around the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. A great introduction that will allow us to find out more about the area.
Plas Newydd
National Trust Picturesquely located near the shores of the Menai Strait, Plas Newydd boasts a spring garden, Australasian arboretum, shrubs, wildflowers, massed hydrangeas and explosions of colour. There are terrific views across the water to Snowdonia, and it’s one of the UK’s last strongholds for the native red squirrel.
